2015 Bodegas Riojanas 'Vina Albina' Reserva

Bodegas Riojanas is not only one of the oldest wineries in Spain’s Rioja region, they’re also one of our all-time favorite producers! More than 130 years after their founding, they still produce traditional styles of Rioja with American oak aging, even as others shift to predominantly French oak. That means their wines offer more flavors we typically associate with classic Rioja, such as coconut and dill. This delicious Reserva showcases those notes on top of varietal cherry, herb leaf, tobacco, and leather. Aged for 30 months in barrel, this polished and elegant wine offers fine tannins and a long finish.
