Wonderwall Pinot Noir
Winemaker Andrew Jones has a knack for shining a light on vineyards that are unknown or under-appreciated. He is a vine nursey employer who plans and plants vineyards for farmers all over California and has a keen eye for sites with enormous potential. They sometimes offer him small lots of their best fruit on the side.
From these offerings comes Field Recording’s vegan Pinot Noir, made with sustainably farmed and hand-picked grapes grown in extreme coastal vineyards in Edna Valley. It has energizing notes of black cherries, cola, almond bark, and black tea, along with white pepper, clove, and cinnamon.
