Two Mountain Winery Rose
Tasting Notes: This Rosé blooms with ripe wild strawberry, a touch of watermelon and hints of fragrant violet. The palate bursts with rich red fruit and balanced acid, making it a natural to pour on sunny days, on cloudy days, and all the days in between.
Named after the majestic view of Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams which can be seen from the vineyards, Two Mountain Winery was founded in 2000. The Rawn family had been fruit farmers in Yakima Valley for more than 50 years when they decided to convert a cherry orchard to vines. Brothers Matthew and Patrick follow a minimalistic approach to growing and making wine. They feel they have an obligation to "operate in a way that ensures the next generation inherits a world worthy of their potential." Through their tireless efforts, Two Mountain became Washington State's first certified sustainable vineyard.
