2021 Canepa Koch 'The Dude' Pinot Noir

If you didn't need a wine to pair with watching the Big Lebowski before, you will now! This microproduced Pinot from Canepa Koch Cellars is a favorite of our customers, who not only love the name but more importantly its full body and great flavors. Juicy flavors of cherry, plum, and raspberry are complemented by rich cola, gentle tannins, and plenty of spices on the palate. The winemakers achieve this wine's fullness by sourcing from premium Pinot clones like Calera and Pommard 4 and then aging much of it for 15-16 months in new French oak; because they met working for a cooperage, it's easier for them to get dibs on the barrels they want. In any given year, they make no more than a few hundred cases.
