Shadowbox 'Outline' Red Blend

Shadowbox Cellars is a Napa-based microwinery run by two families with a passion for food-friendly, small production wines. They source grapes from some of the best vineyards in Napa, Sonoma, Paso Robles, and the Sierra Foothills. Their 2015 'Outline' is a gigantic wine, with concentrated aromas of blueberries, blackberry compote, and plums that lead into coconut, cocoa, coffee, and pepper. While big and fruit-forward, this blend of 60% Zinfandel and 40% Petite Sirah maintains its acidity and is fantastic with the heartiest of BBQ dishes and steaks. It spent 20 months in 15% new oak with the rest in neutral. 320 cases produced.
