Tasting Notes: Crafted from the estate’s highest vineyards, this classic wine is fermented in oak and matured for 24 months in barriques before the best are selected and bottled. Juicy dark fruit on the entry lead into a lively acid that adds balance. A classic fine-grain tannin counters the fruit and lingers in the finish.

Since 1994, Remhoogte has been crafting premium wines in the esteemed Stellenbosch region of South Africa. With a similar climate and soil to Bordeaux, the region produces exceptionally complex wines. Remhoogte Wine Estate produces amazing small-batch values from some of South Africa’s best grapes. The estate focuses on minimal intervention, allowing the terroir and the grapes to tell their own story. All of Remhoogte’s wines are made using sustainable practices and are unfined and unfiltered (i.e., vegan!).
