Remhoogte 'Aspect' Merlot

Tasting Notes: This is a classic Merlot showing juicy aromas of blackberry and oak. Flavors of cherry and chocolate are accented by subtle savory notes and a hint of spice. Broad chalky tannins and fresh acidity bring balance to the palate and a lengthy finish.

Since 1994, Remhoogte has been crafting premium wines in the esteemed Stellenbosch region of South Africa. With a similar climate and soil to Bordeaux, the region produces exceptionally complex wines. Remhoogte Wine Estate produces amazing small-batch values from some of South Africa’s best grapes. The estate focuses on minimal intervention, allowing the terroir and the grapes to tell their own story. All of Remhoogte’s wines are made using sustainable practices and are unfined and unfiltered (i.e., vegan!).
