Quinta da Pacheca Rose
The Douro region is more famous for its red and dessert wines, but it also produces intriguing whites and roses. Pacheca, one of the oldest wineries there, makes their rose from a blend of Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo). Aromas of red fruit, roses, and citrus lead into flavors of raspberry, blood orange, strawberry, and cherry on the palate, showcasing a fun balance of fruity and savory tones that make it a great rose for the fall. It is medium-bodied and juicy, with herbal, earthy hints coming through on the finish.
