For nearly five decades, the Guibert family has watched over and tended to vines in Languedoc. In 1972, Veronique Guibert and her husband Aime planted their first vines sourced from top Bordeaux properties. For the next ten years, they worked tirelessly to hone their craft, meeting with experts like consultant Emile Peynaud to gain invaluable advice. Their 1982 vintage saw the winery heralded as ‘Languedoc’s Chateau Lafite’, and their fame rose from there. Today, four of Veronique and Aime’s five sons, manage the estate and continue the legacy their parents built for them.
