Every respectable hotel has to have a solid, reasonably priced ‘House’ Cab on their wine list, which can be a tough thing to find. But for hotel chains that are big enough, they don’t have to go out and find one – they have one made specially for them. And when you’re as big as Starwood Hotels – the umbrella that includes such names as Marriot, Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Westin, and Gaylord – you can get one made by a premier California winery.

That’s exactly what happened here. Starwood approached Chateau St. Jean, one of Sonoma’s most esteemed estates, and asked them to bottle a private label that would be used exclusively in their bars. It’s not the same grapes that go into the winery’s top-tier selections, of course, but it’s still quality fruit and world-class winemaking that go into the bottle. And because Starwood goes through so much of the wine, they’re able to get that solid House Cab at a very reasonable price.

There’s just one problem. When those hotels don’t use up as much wine as they expected – say, when the entire world stops traveling for more than a year – there’s a whole lot left over.

That’s where we come in. We were able to negotiate a very special deal on some of that leftover wine – the same Cab that you’d pay $8 a glass for in the hotel, and that we’ve seen elsewhere for $19.99 a bottle. And we’re bringing it to you this weekend for the incredible price of just $59.99 a case. Club Members pay just $50.99 a case, which works out to a mind-blowing $4.25 per bottle.

In other words – the best value ‘House’ Cabernet you could ever expect to find. Period.

Magnolia Grove offers everything you want from a bargain California Cab: rich, deep flavors of black cherry and dark berries, with notes of cedar spice and vanilla shining through thanks to a combination of French and American oak. With its soft, smooth tannins and creamy mouthfeel, this wine is a perfect complement for pizza, tacos, burgers, or even an impromptu get-together with friends. And at this incredible price, there’s no celebration too small to pop open a bottle… or two… or three.
