Generation 1905 is produced by Vins Descombe, a Beaujolais-based winery that was first founded in – you guessed it – 1905. Today Marine Descombe leads the fifth generation of her family, producing wines with state-of-the-art techniques that still showcase a traditional sensibility.

Fruit is sourced from vineyards in the south of France, where the Mediterranean climate and classic clay-limestone soils combine to produce grapes with intensity and elegance. The wine opens with juicy aromas of red cherry, strawberry, and raspberry, accented on the palate with hints of white pepper and wild herbs before settling into a long, beautifully balanced finish.
