Founded in 1970, Tenuta Fernanda Cappello the estate is situated on over 300 acres in the Friuli region of Northeast Italy. The vineyards are planted in a flood plain and has a similar terroir to that of Bordeaux. Winemaker Fernanda Cappello started her career as an architect, who was fascinated and charmed by the region. Upon retirement, she returned to the family wine business and now spends all her time on producing wine. Her passion and knowledge have grown over the years as she strives to produce quality wine with character.
