Concrete Cabernet Sauvignon

The Concrete wines are some of the boldest wines we carry, so no wonder they're all-time customer favorites! The winemakers achieve this incredible richness by putting some of their grapes through an ultra-rare apparatus known as "flash-detente," which superheats grapes until they explode and imbue extra flavor concentration and intensity in the wines. Sourced from Lodi and a fantastic alternative to the equally delicious Concrete Zinfandel, this wine offers opulent aromas of dark cherries, cassis, and cocoa. The palate is gorgeously lush and firm with explosive flavors of blackberry jam, currants, vanilla, and cedar. It is bold yet graceful, with silky tannins and a velvety structure. Flourishes of sweet toast and caramel linger on the long, supple finish.
