Chateau Reynier 'Cuvee Heritage' Bordeaux

Chateau Reynier is the family winery of Marc and Agnes Lurton, who are continuing what Marc's grandfather started in 1901 and bringing it into the future with an eye towards organic and sustainable conversion. This wine is a good gateway Bordeaux as it is very approachable with flavors more commonly found in "New World" styles of wine. New French oak aging lends ample vanilla tones that surround rich flavors of black currant, dark cherry, and plum with an additional hint of dill. It is medium-bodied with smooth tannins and a long, spicy finish.
