Chateau Maris Organic Vermentino

Chateau Maris has been called one of the 'cleanest' wine producers on earth. The estate was founded over 20 years ago by Robert Eden, an Englishman who emigrated to France to pursue his winemaking dream. He believes that wine is "grown not made", and as such the estate has been certified organic since 2002. He also follows biodynamic practices, looking at the vineyards from a holistic perspective and trying to make as little impact on the environment as possible.

This bottling is made from 100% Vermentino (known locally as Rolle). Fleshy flavors of peach and stone fruit are complemented by hints of minerals and apple. Medium-bodied, with a lengthy finish.
