Black Elephant 'Two Dogs a Peacock and a Horse'

Black Elephant Vineyards is a South African winery that prides itself on rebelliousness. 
Not interested in fame or fortune, the three geniuses behind this Franschoek brand craft terroir-driven, music-inspired wines to pair with music in order to better enjoy what we like to call “The Wine Life.” When you look through their website, you can find wine pairings for such varied songs as Prince’s “Purple Rain” and Ennio Morricone’s “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.”

Their Sauvignon Blanc, called “Two Dogs, a Peacock, & a Horse,” is an unusually complex and creamy lees-aged example of the variety with flavors of melon, gooseberry, and passionfruit. The winery recommends pairing it with “Dance Some More” by Mango Groove.
