AR Lenoble Blanc de Noirs Champagne
A.R. Lenoble is one of our all-time favorite Champagne houses, and seeing as we (the Swirl & Sip staff) are Champagne fanatics, that says something. They're sustainable and have been practicing organic viticulture since the 1990s, while organic Champagne is still quite rare and only now starting to take off. We also love the fact that they age all their wines in oak, something you don't see very much in modern Champagne but adds extra richness and complexity to the wine. Their vintage Blanc de Noirs is 100% Pinot Noir from their vineyards in the Premier Cru village of Bisseuil. Gorgeously complex, it offers bright acidity and showcases a distinct nuttiness with flavors of red apple, strawberry, lemon, and brioche. 35% of the wine was aged in neutral oak barrels for added richness and body.
