Albert Bichot 'Secret de Famille' Bourgogne
The Bichot family has operated their wine house since 1831, but they've lived in Burgundy since the Middle Ages. They sourced grapes for their “Secret de Famille” Pinot Noir from exceptional terroirs in the Cotes d'Or, a subregion known for producing some of the most prestigious wines in Burgundy. This is a rich and dark Pinot with a deceptively light body. Aromas of black and red fruits plus forest floor lead into flavors of currants, and strawberries. Aged in oak, 20% of which was new, for one year. 90 Points, James Suckling.
