Abelis Carthago 'Lui Selection' Tempranillo

Tasting Notes: This “Cab Lover’s Tempranillo” is one of our favorite wines. Deeply concentrated flavors of dark cherry, blackberry, espresso, and cocoa that lead into bold, velvety tannins. Inky and full-bodied with a long, lingering finish.

Lui and William Wines is a project of two brothers united by a family winemaking tradition. The winery was born in 2005 with the production of wines from the family vineyards. Each bottle of wines unites family values, small-scale production advantages, modern winemaking technology, and traditional grape growing techniques. The winery sits on the banks of the River Duero in the famed Toro region of Spain. The Abelis Lui is made from vineyards more than 20 years old, and aged for 10 months in French oak barrels.
