Mauro Molino Langhe DOC Nebbiolo
Tasting Notes: A wine with a fresh, fruity taste and soft, delicate tannins. Hints of rose petal and violet lead into flavors of red fruit with a touch of leather on the finish. An elegant and enchanting Nebbiolo perfect for pairing with Grilled Eggplant and Pork Roast.
"Aromas of sour cherries, strawberries, and licorice with some marmalade. Medium-bodied with chewy tannins and a tangy, zesty, and fruity palate." - 90 Points, James Suckling
Mauro Molino grew up in Piedmont but took a break to work in Emilia-Romagna after his military service. When he came home in the late 70s, he began producing fine Barolos from some of the region's best vineyards (and never stopped). Nowadays, his children Matteo and Martina spearhead the project. They've brought the estate into the international spotlight, and almost every bottle produced receives international accolades.
