Thelema Cabernet Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: Complex and stylist, with aromas of blackcurrant leaf and coffee bean. The palate is structured and racy with hints of leather, dark chocolate, and sweet blackberry. The firm tannins yield a gripping mouthfeel from the first sip to the long, lingering finish.

In 1983, Gyles Webb abandoned his accounting career and purchased Thelema with his wife's family. The estate needed intense repairs in the first few years, but by the mid 1990s, Thelema became one of the most sought-after wine estates in South Africa. Thet attribute the quality of their beautiful wines to their policies. Thelema believes grape quality is the single most important factor in winemaking. This leads them to a minimal intervention approach that allows the wines to be a true expression of each vineyard.
