Tasting Notes: This Pinot Noir was aged in French oak barrels for 9 months. It shows pure fruit aromas with a hint of spice. On the palate, flavors of strawberry lead into perfumed spice. It is wonderfully balanced with a long, refined finish.

Situated on the southeastern side of the Simonsberg mountain, the Sutherland vineyards boast some of the highest elevations in Stellenbosch. The high altitude and rich soils are ideal for growing high quality grapes. This side project of Thelema wines follows the same principles as their main estate. Thelema believes grape quality is the single most important factor in winemaking. They focus on minimal intervention, allowing the wines to be a true expression of each vineyard.
