2015 Opus One
Tastes Like: Black Cherries, Dark Plums, Chocolate, Spice
- Additional information
A blend of 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Cabernet Franc, 6% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, and 2% Malbec. This vintage offers gorgeous aromas of violets, cassis, roses, and chocolate that lead into intriguing black cherries, plum, gravel, and spice. The palate is silky and the tannins are becoming finer by the day, but decanting is still recommended. Drink over the next ten years. 98 Points, James Sucklin; 97 Points, Wine Advocate; 93 Points, Wine Spectator.
