Concrete Zinfandel

The Concrete wines are some of the boldest wines we carry, so no wonder they're all-time customer favorites! The winemakers achieve this incredible richness by putting some of their grapes through an ultra-rare apparatus known as "flash-detente," which superheats grapes until they explode and imbue extra flavor concentration and intensity in the wines. Produced from highly desirable old vines, this ultra-concentrated Zinfandel is a gigantic wine. Full-bodied flavors of blackberry jam collide with wild brambles, baking spices, and pepper to create a wine that is simultaneously easy-drinking and intense. It is oaky, with vanilla tones and moderate tannins on the finish.
